Here are a few students work samples I have collected over my student teaching...
Write the Room-November Edition
In this activity, the students were to go around the room and find all the Fall word (with pictures) cards and write that word on their paper, they were to do this for each word on their paper. This activity was switched up for each holiday or season, for example before this, it was Halloween themed.
Feedback: This student did very well at writing their letters and didn't miss any letters, so I would say they did a great job.
Snap Word Rainbow Write
In this activity, the students were to pick snap words (words they know by heart or in a snap) from a jar and then write the word first. Then they were to rainbow write it (write each letter in a different color) twice in the other 2 boxes.
Feedback: This student did a great job writing their snap words, the only thing I would ask is for them to make sure they write all the snap words in pencil first and then rainbow write, but what they did is fine.
Reindeer Word Part Match and Write
In this activity, the kids were to match the word cards to the matching reindeer word parts and then write them in the correct word part boxes.
Feedback: I think this student did a wonderful job and got all the words part matching correct, so I put Great work.
Roll and Write-Numbers Up to 6
In this activity, the students are to roll a dice and each number they get they have to write that number, and they keep doing this until the sheet is full. This activity is to help with writing their numbers up to 6.
Feedback: This student is doing very well for this point in the year. The only thing I would correct is their writing direction of the number 3, which you can see I marked, but I put a smiley face because they did a good job.
